The Problem

A product film for the W90 speaker had to be ready for the brand's event — the deadline would not move. Along the way the flow and content changed several times, once right before delivery. The question stopped being "how do we make it beautiful" and became "how do we keep each change from forcing the whole film to start over".

What I Owned

Creative Producer — owning the 3D visual direction, motion and compositing from brief to delivery.

3D wherever the product had to be exact

The product is the one thing that can't be wrong. 3D held its shape, material and detail at every angle.

Build the film from parts that change on their own

Each shot could be revised independently, so a late change touched only what it had to.

Reuse what earlier work had built

3D components from the previous film were reused, leaving time for what was actually new.

How It Was Made

3D built in Blender, motion and compositing in post. Light effects follow the rhythm of the film's own track, so picture and sound move as one.

  • The final flow change still landed before delivery
